What We Need To make Cape Coral Better
Running for city council district 6 is a responsibility I do not take lightly. I am committed to serving the community and addressing the key issues that matter to us. My focus is on creating a better future for our district by champaigning policies that promote economic growth, improve education, and ensure public safety.
There are so many issue to address it would take a whole page, but I have them in a notebook and contine to add to the list.
KEY INITIATIVES
As a dedicated public servant, I am passionate about driving economic development in our district. With a focus on job creation and support for local businesses, I aim to build a thriving and sustainable economy that benefits all residents.
We need to slow down the residential building and reevaluate the building process. There are far to many abandoned, half constructed homes and or completed homes that either sits for months or years. This needs attention and we need slow down giving out permits. I know that I will champaign as your city council representative to do this. I am committed to fostering a business-friendly environment and creating opportunities for growth and prosperity.
HELP Stop the Wasteful Spending
This city management wants to waste Money and time. Adding new postions in management, giving vehicles to drive around, use up tax payers money on projects that the locals won't be able to see or use. And the worst give millions away to big corporations that doesn't need the money. (This sounds Fishing)
I feel that cutting the fat in management will save a lot of money.
Public Safety
Ensuring the safety of our neighborhoods is paramount. I am determined to address issues such as lack of Police Officers, we are short staffed. The City is short on traffic cops and have a issue of the speeding on major road ways and even in the neighborhoods, Motorcycles splitting the lanes (unsafe for all) Lack of patrols in the neighborhoods. We can prevent all of this if we can increase the Police Department. Together, we can create a secure environment where everyone feels safe and protected.
Community Engagement
I am dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community where every voice is heard and valued. By actively engaging with residents and promoting dialogue, I aim to build strong connections and collaborative solutions that reflect the rich diversity of our district.
Sustainability
Protecting our environment is a shared responsibility. I am committed to promoting sustainable practices and policies that preserve our natural resources and mitigate the impact of climate change. Together, we can work towards a greener, healthier future for generations to come.
